Coast Salish Development Corporation – Stz’uminus First Nation’s economic development agency
Coast Salish Development Corporation (CSDC) is the economic development agency of the Stz’uminus First Nation. Established in 2009, CSDC is responsible for managing and steering growth through economic planning, developing major partnerships and joint ventures, building business relationships with the business community and other First Nations, negotiating partnership arrangements with the Crown and potential private sector partners, marketing, financing, and overseeing the activities of its subsidiary businesses. The separation of economic development from overall band management allows for more effective and efficient economic development efforts for the band and its external partners.
